Heinz Jordan Mightlon Synthetic Artist Brush

This hair was designed to emulate the natural hog bristle by using 100% thick and stiff filaments and has achieved comparatively economical pricing. A unique greyish green filament with seamless ferrules, offers the oil and acrylic painter an exceptional quality brush at a fantastic price. Each filament has been paired with a chemical process to imitate the shape of natural animal hair so that it holds plenty of colour and maintains a sharp point. Consists of 3 different diameter filaments for performing snap and maintaining stiffness, also applies shape memory interlocked construction so that the brush returns to its original shape after use.

Luke our veteran art materials expert of 25 years, recommends this brush for acrylic painting where a brush stroke that is softer than a natural hog bristle is desired. While this brush is still stiff enough to leave a brush stroke it will be less pronounced than Heinz Jordan Aquatec Oil and Acrylic Brushes  . This brush will be ideal for oil where finer glazing techniques are being employed. Interestingly enough, our artists in Saint John, New Brunswick order this line more than any other geographic location in Canada, try a Mightlon Brish today to see what Saint John has discovered! This brush will be more durable for acrylic than natural hog bristle brushes like Heinz Jordan Fine Hog Bristle Brushes .

    Endeavours Care Tips:

For oil paint be sure to clean the excess paint out of your brush after use with Eco-House Neutral Thin . For acrylic paint rinse with water. After the initial rinse with thinner or water wash with brush with "The Masters" soap and water. Lay flat or hang bristle side down to dry. Don't stand the brush bristle side down on any surface to dry as this will cause permanent damage to the brush. Care questions? Email us!
