From organic fabrics to just plain fun, Tyler and Luke test every sock brand they stock before they sell it to you. If printed sock images don't stick, or our feet stink after an hour's wear we save you the trouble. We love the style of Sock-it to me socks, and Hotsox were the brand that got us hooked. Solmate socks are super special, made in the States of mostly recycled cotton, not only do no two match but we feel good about not leaving as large of a carbon foot print....see what I just did there. Have fun shopping our fabulous sock, we sure do!

More About Solmate Socks:
Solmate Socks was started in the year 2000 by Marianne Wakerlin with the simple idea that “Life’s too short for matching socks.” As a lifelong textile artist with a wonderful eye for design and keen instinct for business, she knew there was a market for beautifully crafted, mismatched socks made right here in America. The company quickly grew out of a small room in her house to three different offices in the US and the UK. Solmate Socks' product line also expanded to include hats, mittens, and scarves in addition to mismatched, colorful socks.
When Marianne retired in 2015, her son and daughter-in-law dedicated themselves to carrying on the family tradition of creating highly coveted, treasured works of art that can be worn on your own two feet.
More than an apparel brand, we like to think of ourselves as a destination for cultivating creativity and embracing individuality. Our whimsically mismatched socks and accessories are designed to accentuate style and natural beauty - meant to be worn with confidence and pride. Knowing that fashion and sustainability go hand-in-hand, we understand that every action we take today has an impact on tomorrow. This is why we are committed to using sustainably-sourced, eco-friendly fibers in every product we make, allowing you to embrace your individuality without compromising your earth-friendly principles. Constantly evaluating the social and environmental impacts of our decisions, we are proud to be part of a global movement of businesses working together for a positive change. More About Sock it to Me!
In a world that tries to dictate how you can be, it takes bravery to be yourself. We make awesome things to wear that defy the world’s expectations. Sock It to Me believes everyone has a unique voice that deserves to be heard. We believe in unicorns, sasquatch, and all the magical things that color outside the lines. We believe that the world would be a better place if everyone felt encouraged to be their authentic self.
It all started with a tent at an outdoor market in 2004, a desk in a messy bedroom, and the courage to approach our very first wholesale customer. Now, 14 years later, we’ve grown to a mighty (and way talented) team of 40+ employees creating over 400 original designs and servicing over 4,000 wholesale accounts as well as our own webstore.
We believe ordinary can be extraordinary. So, if you’d like to hear more about what it takes to tame unicorns, grapple with jellyfish, and wrestle dinosaurs into submission, drop us a note sometime. We’d really love to hear from you!

Get to know Hotsox:
NUMBERS DON’T LIE, CHECK THE SCOREBOARD Back when we created fashion socks in the 70’s, they weren’t even a thing. Black socks and white socks were the only game in town. That wasn’t our vibe. So, we pivoted and gave HOTSOX big pops of color. The designs were red hot and the fans went crazy. We learned a few lessons along the way. First and foremost, socks are fashion accessories. Second, people love to stunt their sock game – no two people wear socks the same way. And most importantly, the major key to HOTSOX is making socks that feel great, function well, and deliver on today’s style.
More than 30 years later, we’re still ahead in the game we created.
